Heritage Property
Heritage status can open up exciting new opportunities, particularly for redundant rural buildings. In general, with compelling arguments and development proposals which contribute to a heritage asset’s setting and character, Local Development Plans often permit traditional buildings to be used for purposes which Local Authorities might not have otherwise entertained.
We can demonstrate why alternative uses are required to enable the long-term retention of heritage assets and we work with Conservation Officers to agree a mutual acceptable strategy to afford no harm, or to prove a case for enabling development.
